Comingsoon has reported some new details about some of the upcoming films that will be released within the next couple of years. Among the releases the premiere date for the Masters of the Universe film was revealed. The film is set to premiere on December 18, 2019.
For those who are unaware the film is based on the Mattel property of the same name that launched in 1982. The animated series titled “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” kicked off the franchise which led into two spin-off series titled “She-Ra: Princess of Power,” in 1985, and “The New Adventures of He-Man” in 1990.
The popularity of the franchise also led into it’s first live-action adaptation that starred Dolph Lundgren as He-Man, Frank Langella as Skeletor , Courteney Cox as Julie Winston, and various others.
Currently no other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.
