Over the weekend Otakon 2017 was held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. At the convention Discotek Media held a panel featuring several new releases. Among the releases the company announced that they will be releasing Cyborg 009: The Cyber Soldier on Blu-ray and DVD.
For those who are unaware Cyborg 009: The Cyborg Solider is an anime series that premiered in Japan in 2001 and also aired on Toonami in 2003. The series was a retelling of the original 1964 Cyborg 009 manga series.
