Over the Holiday weekend, Hasbro Studios also revealed details about the Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy animated series. For those who haven’t been following the series is set to continue where the original Transformers: Rescue Bots animated series left off. The series will feature an all new team with some appearances of the veteran cast. Each episode of Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy is set to run for 11 minutes and the first season will consist of 52 episodes.
The new Rescue Bots team consists of:
- Hoist
- Wedge
- Medix
- Whirl
- Hot Shot
Hasbro Studios also provided a synopsis for the series.
A group of young Bots fresh from Cybertron (Hot Shot, Whirl, Medix,
Hoist and Wedge), have the honor of being the first-ever class to enroll
in Earth’s Rescue Bot Training Academy and learn how to become Earth
heroes through hands-on experience.
Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy will premiere in 2019.
