Good morning Hero-Club faithful, today is an exciting day since within the past few weeks we have gone through updates. Although, some readers may have been more aware of these changes when visiting us then, as these updates went live. So, for longtime supporters of Hero-Club, they will already notice that our design has heavily changed. For example, post layouts are different on the home page, and individual articles may look more compressed. However, our staff thinks this makes everything look sleeker, and simpler for our audience to enjoy.

Past Designs (V1: 2016-17/ V2: 2017-25)
Currently, Hero-Club has moved hosting from Wordpress to Ghost, so there will be some bugs in the system. Like older posts may have lost some images, and/ or they are formatted weird due to the hosting transfer. As a result, if older content has issues we hope readers alert us, so we can edit those errors. However, we are uncertain if we will be able to amend everything that was changed or lost during the move. Additionally, another big change is that Hero-Club has lost the category feature, as they were merged with tags. So, that means readers may not be able to perfectly narrow searches through the header options or sub-categories. However, the site’s search bar feature does remain, so that should help with finding content. Coincidentally, Ghost’s search feature seems to work better than Wordpress, as it will suggest posts like actual web-browsers.

Also, during the update process our staff realized that it was occurring on Hero-Club’s ninth anniversary. Ironically, we stopped making posts promoting or celebrating that fact around the time COVID-19 occurred. Although, since Hero-Club went through this renewal process we thought we should mention it. Furthermore, it has the staff wondering what we should do to commemorate Hero-Club’s eventual tenth anniversary next year. Like maybe we will try to bring back our podcasts, and begin to produce more visual media. For example, make video editorials and news broadcasts for Hero-Club’s official YouTube channel. However, these are just vague statements regarding the site’s possible plans and future.
Anyway, Hero-Club would like to thank everyone who has supported us from the start and throughout these nine years. Surprisingly, after the loss of Herotaku, we somewhat thought Hero-Club would have failed sooner. However, our staff managed to surprise itself, as well as our awesome fans due to our continued perseverance. Nevertheless, to remain up to date with Hero-Club, we suggest that people should follow us across social media using @HeroClub4Life!
